And, Surprising Biblical Origins of…
The Confederate Battle FlagPreface: The winners write the history. The "accepted" version is accepted by the sheep, notwithstanding truth. It is a function of monopoly control of publishing by "Big Brother" (not government), and conditioning of the people. Time serves the interests of monopoly as "living memory" dies. The writing involves a selection, emphasis, and omission of facts. This is called editing, but it is more sinister. (See 1984 by George Orwell.)
All winners make themselves look good. Regarding the war between states, as a consequence of editing, there is a presumption of overcoming evil. This bias in this situation makes myth into a "given" (fact). Now, the only "given", in the 1990s, is the influence of the media (the "Power of the Air") on society. Few recognize the real influence: We are a pavlovian conditioned people: we unconsciously, physiologically respond to certain words, pictures, or ideas. (Get “(P.C.)2” at www.antichristnow.com - Link at Bottom) One such picture (idea) is the Confederate Battle Flag. Therefore, as you read this article beware of your adrenaline secretion: This article explains the politically incorrect, true origins of the battle flag.
To the flag and other "sensitive issues" most people exhibit a pavlovian response when faced with certain symbols and/or certain words. The media has actually psychologically conditioned us, our people, such that we are politically correct in our physiological, endocrin gland reactions.
"P.C." and propaganda are methods of Spiritual Warfare. True Spiritual Warfare is NOT 'Shadow Boxing with the Devil.' This article is a counter attack in the fight for truth.
The War It is time for some Politically In-correct TRUTH on the issue of the Confederacy and the battle flag. The truth about the flag will reveal the truth about the, so called, “Civil War”: In flesh, it was a war between the states. In spirit, it was not a war between the states: It was a war between the Federal Government and all state governments. The Federal Government hoodwinked the northern states into fighting for it, but all the states lost when the Federal Government won. Today, we have provinces euphemistcally called "states".
The war was not about slavery until some politician "hit on" the idea whereby the feds could take the moral high-ground. Notwithstanding, the war was a spiritual war between the centralizers and the decentralizers. The centralization of power is inherently evil. See 1 Samuel ch.8.
The States and Tradition
Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia. Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisianna, Texas, Arkansas, and Tennessee seceded from the union, which being voluntarily entered could be voluntarily exited where the Constitution were the Law of the Land... In November 1861, supporters of the Confederacy met at Russellville, Kentucky, and passed an act of secession. This action was recognized by the Confederacy but not by the Union. The state was a star in both flags. The fact is Kentucky and Missouri, both, had “Rump Governments.”
Note: Before Lincoln, President James Buchanan said that the Federal Government had no right to coerce a seceding state into submission; But, in 1869 the Supreme Court declared secession Unconstitutional, which is fallacious since secession takes the state out from under the authority of the Constitution; Furthermore, this decision repudiates the Declaration of Independence, and the principle of self determination, and self government.
There were thirteen colonies and original states in 1776; Then, there were thirteen Confederate States. What is the significance of the number 13 (Thirteen)?? ...
Or, do the thirteen stars show something?? Let’s look at the flags.First of all, remember that the true battle flag was a square, as it was the jack of the naval ensign. The rectangular flag with which we are most familiar is technically a naval banner. Now, there were two flags: the famous battle flag, and the civilian "Stars and Bars". The latter, like the “Betsy Ross flag” had the stars in a circle.
The cross in the battle flag is the same as that on the flag of the State of Florida: The St. Andrews Cross. (This is also in the British Union Jack.) This is of great importance in the south with its heavy Scotch-Irish population and traditions. (In North Carolina there is a Scotland County. And, the “Southern Accent” is reminiscent of Gaelic.) ...But the thirteen stars?
In today's America, it is difficult to understand life in the last century, much less pre-civil war America: unidustrialized, in touch with the earth, and therefore, very religious. (Even as late as World War I forty percent of our population lived on farms.) Also, few people, today, can understand what it was like to live with the Bible as an integral part of life -- The Bible used to be on every judge's desk, and was carried into the courtroom whenever court was convened -- which was NOT every day, like today -- there was no need for court every day. This is what it means to be a Covenant People. The Word, the Law, the Covenant is central to life, private and public; personal and national (official).
The Flags
We find the number thirteen has significance for Bible Based Societies. The battle flag comes from the Bible: The second chapter of the Book of Numbers gives the arrangement of the camps of the tribes of Israel. As it happens the twelve tribes of Israel became thirteen when the patriarch Jacob/Israel adopted (vis-a-vis the Birthright) both of Joseph's sons, Ephraim and Manasseh (Gen 8:5). Again, Numbers 2 gives the arrangement of the tribal camps: with Levi and the Ark of the Covenant in the center of the whole. The camps were to be located to the East, South, West, and North.
... Depicting this on a map, the centers of the camps form an equilateral cross of thirteen points. Take this cross of thirteen points and rotate it to fall on the arms of the St. Andrews Cross, and you have the Confederate Battle Flag.
Now look at one of the Flags of the Confederacy with explicit reference to the Bible: The “Arc of the Covenant” Flag.

Epilogue
The war was not about Slavery: Lincoln said that the South could keep its slaves if they would just stay in the Union.
Secession was the exercise of the unalienable rights outlined in the Declaration of Independence. Slavery is biblical. Decentralization of human government under God is biblical. The number thirteen (13) is biblical. The flags have reference to the Bible. These facts need to be discussed.
Obviously, the spiritual side of the history of this country has been excised from the American Consciousness. History is a spiritual term: "His Story" refers to the Spirit of Christ in His People, where Christ is the Head of the Church, even as YHWH (God) -- the Husband is the head of His Wife -- Israel – Christian Israel.
With this hard evidence of the importance of God’s Word to the Society of the Confederacy, it is incumbant upon honest scholars to re-examine that society, and its values.
Addendum
We have seen the number thirteen both in the Confederate Flags, and the Original Flags of the United States. Is there a biblical link in the origins of the latter, as there is in the former?? Look at the First American Flag: circa. 1775.
Notice that there are no stars, but there are thirteen (13) stripes, specifically red and white. With the foregoing it is reasonable to ask if there could be any spiritual/biblical significance to these stripes. ... Stripes. ... Stripes?? ... Where does that appear in the Bible?? ...
“… By His Stripes We are Healed”!!! (Isah 53:5; 1 Pet 2:24) … So, although not “pictorial” the stripes are Symbolic of the Stripes which introduced Forgiveness into the Covenant with God. (Before the Perfect Sacrifice, Spiritual Law precluded forgiveness. The Spiritual Laws of the Universe require “Eye for an Eye.”) The Stripes are SYMBOLIC of the stripes of Jesus Christ.
This conclusion is justified by what we have learned about Antebellum American society. Plus, we acknowledge that the action of the Holy Spirit has real affect whether or not the participants in His Story are aware of it, to wit:
It was God who determined the Number of Original Colonies and States!!!
"Awake, Awake, ... O (New) Jerusalem ...: for there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and unclean..." (Isaiah 52:1)This is the promise of the Restoration of the Kingdom of God;
This is the promise for that day when we choose to make Him King, again.
